Use of GeneSpeed is free of charge, however, in order to use the more advanced features of the toolbox we do require that users create a personal account. This enables each user to create custom regulatory gene lists and save them for later review or download. An account also enables use of the GeneSpeed BetaCell resource and the associated 'my gene workspace' bioinformatics toolset. We only use personal contact information to keep track of the numbers and types of users accessing the database and to occasionally update our users with major changes in the database structure.
